You can provide meals for seniors in need
Each year, Hebrew SeniorLife serves nearly 200,000 nutritious meals at our supportive housing communities. The typical resident is 85 years old, lives on $20,500 per year, and spends $1 out of every $4 on medical expenses. All of the residents in Randolph, Revere, and 112 Centre Street in Brookline receive housing subsidies for low-income residents.
Our goal - which we achieve thanks to you - is to help residents stay healthy, active, and living independently for as long as possible.
By making meals available in residents' own buildings, we know that each senior has the option for a nutritious dinner. For our frailest residents, having access to a hot prepared meal might mean the difference between living independently and moving to a long-term care facility.
Your donation provides money for this critical service.
A $100 donation can buy food for 25 hot nutritious meals for a low-income senior.
